Elaine Davidson from Edinburgh, Scotland, had 720 piercings on various parts of her body and is declared the most pierced woman in August 9, 2001. She first broke the record in May 2000 when she had 462 piercings out of which 192 were on her facial area alone. Certainly a world record!

A top police official of the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan has said that the Taliban that were once confined to these mountainous areas are now present in each and every city and town of Pakistan. These jihadi groups are also planning to launch 9/11 type of strikes on western targets.
