 All scheduled events are still in the planning stages and though we have high hopes to make each and every activity happen, they have yet to be finalized and approved by the town.
This year we are going to set up a special raffle and it won't cost you anything to enter. Simply check in at the Old Home Days table and get a ticket. Then get your ticket stamped at each event throughout the weekend. ?If you get your ticket stamped at each event, you can then add it to our raffle box. The big prize (yet to be determined) will be drawn following the breakfast on Sunday morning.
Friday Night August 1st, Music on Main Street 6pm - 10pm
Come join us for a night of Music, Art and History. Main Street will be closed from in front of the NEC Administration Building to an area past the Community Park. Traffic will be diverted via Crescent Street. The festivities will kick off at 6pm. While music will dominate the evening, it will also be the start of a weekend long Art Show at the NEC Gallery and special Historical Society Exhibit. Come hungry because we're giving our local restaurants will set up stations and will be the sole food vendors for the evening.
Saturday August 2nd - Parade - Fair - Family Picnic
PARADE - Line up for those participating in the parade will begin at 9:15 am at the Village Green. If you wish to be a part of the parade, go to our Get Involved page to see what we are looking for and how you can register. The parade should go through town around 10:00am and will wind its way to the the Town Hall lawn.
FAIR Crafts, games, food and lots of fun for everyone will fill the afternoon on the Town Hall lawns. To find out what types of games we are planning on holding, go to our Get Involved page. This page will be updated frequently as plans become finalized.
FAMILY PICNIC Behind the NEC Simon Center. Bring your own blanket and basket of food because Saturday evening is all about having a good time out with your family. If you don't feel like packing up a dinner, don't worry,  we hope to find a groups and charitable organizations that would be more than willing to put something together for you. Music will once again be a huge part of the night but before the band takes the stage, we plan on letting our locals show off their skills when we host a talent show. Sunday August 3rd Breakfast on the Bridge 8-11am
What better way to finish off the weekend than to enjoy breakfast with friends on the NEC Covered Bridge. Our theme this year is Bridging Generations Together so it seems only fitting to make this wonderful structure the center piece of the morning.
